Your own pieces are welcome
If a grandparent has given your baby a hanbok, or you have gathered pieces you love, bring that idea into the plan. We can work with the style you want rather than insist on a fixed set.
The people beside your baby
Your baby can be photographed alone, with parents and siblings, or with grandparents too. Tell us who you hope to include and which groupings matter, so time and styling can be planned before the visit.
Experience with babies
Chicago Baby began in 2011 as an indoor baby photography studio. Soohyun Kim took it over in 2017 and has continued photographing babies and young families since then. We use that experience to plan around a baby’s stage and the family’s hopes for the photographs.
Plan around your baby
Tell us your baby’s age at the session, the time of day that tends to work best, and whether parents, siblings or grandparents will join. A baby may be fussy or need a pause; we can discuss how much time to allow and which clothing and backgrounds fit. Babies’ routines change, so ask us about availability and rescheduling terms before reserving a date.
